We are thrilled to introduce one of our incredible Interns, Samantha Tave for our #meetusonmonday series.
Samantha is a rising senior at Walt Whitman High School in Bethesda, MD, and her hobbies include softball, volunteering, babysitting, and baking. Her favorite classes are AP Psychology, and Anatomy and Physiology.
She really enjoys working with ARDC and learning about our mission to reduce the numbers of pets entering shelters. She loves learning how a nonprofit functions and how we are using education to achieve our goal. Her work with ARDC is particularly meaningful because when she was younger, she was terrified of dogs. She’s confident that if she attended one of our education programs, she wouldn’t have had this fear for as long as she did. It took years, but she overcame her fear and now has a sweet dog named Teddy.
Say “Hi” to Samantha!
